Exactly two years ago, on a bright July morning, we signed the papers that made it official: we had founded VIOMODA. Many people predicted we wouldn’t last long, that we were too idealistic to cope with the harsh reality of day to day business.

Fortunately, these people were wrong and VIOMODA has stayed true to the vision that guides us.

Today, our Headquarters in Plovdiv has expanded and is the workplace of 100 employees. We have our own cutting department and prototype atelier, as well as all-new machinery especially adapted to our requirements, allowing us to achieve the highest quality standards.

In the beginning of the year, we opened a new production facility in Kritschim with 40 new workstations being worked in two shifts. In Tschirpan, south west of Plovdiv, production will start in October, to create 60 new jobs. Our plan is to decentralize our firm and go to the countryside. We are constantly looking for experienced & motivated workers and are happy to be able to offer them jobs close to where they live. We have achieved this in cooperation with local authorities.

Together, we have made VIOMODA a success. Our goal is not only the continuous improvement of our technical capabilities in the field of high quality apparel designed for the sport market, we also want to grow in a sustainable fashion. We have set, and live up to, our own ethical standards, of fair wages and good working conditions, in an industry where this is too rarely a consideration.

Two years is not a long time but it is a very significant period for a young startup, especially in a business that is constantly moving forward. Our progress over these last two years is an achievement to be proud of. In this time, we have established ourselves, and proven ourselves.
